To commemorate International Women's Day on March 8, a delightful celebration was organized on March 7 at the hospital premises by a group of women working at the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital. What made this event unique was that all contributions and participation were exclusively by women.
National Organ Donor Day celebrations were organized by the Organ Transplant Unit of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, with Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dr. Harini Amarasuriya as the chief guest. The event honored the lives of organ donors and paid tribute to their families for their selfless contributions, celebrating the profound impact of organ donation in saving and transforming lives.
